Job Summary
The Senior DevOps Engineer serves as a key player within our Technology Solutions Applications Development team, providing visionary leadership and technical expertise, directing the creation and support of streamlined "golden paths." Primary focus will be on establishing easily consumable infrastructure and robust CI/CD pipelines for our software teams, emphasizing low cognitive load and high-security standards. Focused on defining best practices for application deployment and infrastructure maintenance, ensuring optimal cloud-based solutions aligning with regulatory compliance. Lead the design, implementation, and support of infrastructure and CI/CD solutions for our software teams, emphasizing simplicity, security, and reliability. Establishing best practices and documentation for application deployment and infrastructure maintenance will be crucial. Collaborate closely with engineering teams to implement optimal cloud-based solutions tailored to healthcare industry requirements.
Must have a balanced approach between Software Engineering principles and modern Infrastructure Operations, leveraging automation orchestration tools like Azure DevOps (ADO), Github Enterprise, or Gitlab. Proficiency in infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible is crucial, alongside a strong grasp of CI/CD best practices. Experience with AWS infrastructure, Windows Server automation, various git patterns, regulated industry settings like Healthcare, and supporting various development languages will be instrumental.
Expertise in containers, Kubernetes orchestration, database automation, cloud cost management, network/cloud security concepts, AppSec/DevSecOps tooling, automated software testing, and GitOps methodologies will drive system efficiency and security. Effective communication skills will foster collaboration and organization within our team and across departments.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field required.
Five years of related experience required.
