The Sanford School Department is looking for a Technology Support Specialists to work collaboratively with Technology Department staff and under the direction of the Director of Technology to provide support to schools and staff in realizing all priorities of the Sanford School Department’s strategic plan. The Technology Support Specialists will be responsible for providing ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting/problem solving, 1:1 device management, and ongoing staff training and support. Work terms are school year (184 days 10 days), per Educational Technician Bargaining Agreement .JOB FUNCTIONS: •Troubleshoot and problem solve issues with printing, networks, security systems, student and staff devices, phones, servers, software & apps, and other areas as assigned. •Provide ongoing maintenance of all hardware, software, and network infrastructure as assigned. •1:1 device management including issuing, collecting, enrolling and managing with Mobile Device •Management, repair, and inventory control. •Provide training and support to staff and students for effective use of hardware and software. •Collaborate with Technology Department staff for problem solving and proactive technology planning. •Provide backup support for all District schools and offices as necessary. •Other duties as assigned by the Director of Technology
