The Role:
We are seeking a Creative Director who can successfully lead our team to deliver best in class marketing creative and content across all channels and brands. The successful candidate has an intimate understanding of how to engage customers in both B2B and B2C channels and is responsible for marrying copy and design while maintaining consistent brand guidelines. The
Creative Director will lead the creation of product packaging, sales and training materials, customer- focused design work, messaging, advertising and other branded assets needed. The successful candidate will work closely with all internal and external partners to deliver design and content that achieves our brand messaging, product positioning and ensures market success. The Creative
Director is a hands-on graphic designer with a good eye, excellent project management skills and the ability to inspire and lead a team to achieve success. This individual is able to take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them seamlessly into images, layouts and other designs. We are looking for a leader who is creative, innovative, multi-faceted and able to easily adapt to changing business needs. The ideal candidate has experience in skincare – preferably luxury brands – and is comfortable with hands-on work in a collaborative environment. We are focused on providing an exceptional customer experience and are looking for someone to help us achieve our goals as our company continues to grow.

What We Expect – Responsibilities:

  • Manages the creative process across brands from concept to completion. Able to take ideas and incorporate various elements, messaging, photographs and logos to communicate marketing and/or brand objectives.
  • Aligns copy and design cohesively across all mediums and channels to deliver brand consistency and meet established goals.
  • Ensures all visual communication and brand copy standards are met across brands and channels. Evolve guide when required.
  • Establish visual language and branded content that will effectively communicate with target consumer and audience.
  • Lead and direct the creative team in the production of all marketing collateral and demonstrating responsibility for the quality and completion of all work projects.
  • Produce and coordinate videos, photoshoots, graphics, and other multimedia content that is fresh, compelling and inspires core audiences to engage in customer journey.
  • Provides guidance, support and troubleshooting assistance to creative team to achieve goals.
  • Responsible for leading creative team to achieve success and personal growth through training, coaching and accountability for achieving individual and team objectives.
  • Drives the creation of concepts by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
  • Creates visual aspects of product packaging, marketing materials, website and other media and ties content in seamlessly.
  • Maintains all digital assets and coordinating photo shoots and image needs for all channels.
  • Shares creative ideas and solutions to help improve brand messaging for signage, packaging, print and digital marketing including email templates, web banners and design.
  • Acts as liaison with print vendors and agency partners to upload deliverables in a timely manner and ensure quality control and timelines and outcomes are achieved.
  • Supervises the proofing, data and file maintenance and all administrative processes related to all executing top quality and timely creative work.
  • Shares feedback on packaging design messaging and trends as well as digital promotions, activities and resources to ensure brand relevance within the marketplace.
  • Works closely with multidisciplinary project teams - from Sales and HR to R&D and IT/Digital

Marketing as directed.

  • Supports the eCommerce strategy in terms of website content, seasonal promotions, functionality and navigation as directed.
  • Develop, design and execute media assets and campaigns across all existing and emerging digital/social channels and platforms. Able to creatively product video formats and static image-based content.
  • Stay current with industry / advertising / cultural trends and share information to guide and evolve work.
  • Responsible for maintaining all marketing equipment, supplies, workspace and resources.
  • Supports other business priorities and projects as directed

What We’re Looking for – Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art Design, Marketing or related discipline
  • Advanced knowledge of creative software (including Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Proficiency with MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • 5 years in professional commercial design, preferably with a marketing or creative agency.

Consumer packaged goods and/or retail experience a plus

  • 3 years as a Creative Manager or Director with team leadership experience
  • Ecommerce experience including UIX/UI and CRO strategies, website design, email, social media and digital campaigns
  • Expert PhotoShop experience including video editing for social media and web applications
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across the business.
  • Excellent command of the English language and ability to guide copy content appropriately to with respect to nuance, intent and understanding.
  • Ability to absorb and apply constructive criticism from peers and business partners.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines and projects while working in an efficient manner without sacrificing quality
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced and changing environment. Open to new ways of doing things
  • Ability to think creatively and identify opportunities for improvement while helping build new and efficient processes

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen
  • The employee is required to sit for long periods of time, as well as frequently standing and walking. Use of hands, arms and fingers necessary.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Target starting pay - $90,000
