Responsible for assembling defect- free parts in a team-based environment where all employees are involved in continuous improvement. The activities may include any of the following: handling and packaging of parts, operation of assembly equipment, applying double-sided tape in a precise location, completion of production forms and labels, and the assembly of secondary components to the molded product. The Assembly Operator is also responsible for auditing product and process performance, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
SPECIFICATIONS:
1. Good hand-eye coordination and the ability to work with your hands.
2. Detail oriented
3. Ability to stand for 8 hours
4. Ability to communicate effectively with fellow Operators, support staffs and the Shift Supervisor.
5. Good attention to detail, and the ability to determine if a part meets quality requirements.
6. Ability to fill out forms and labels accurately and neatly.
