We are currently recruiting highly qualified candidates, whose background and career goals meet our needs, for the following position in our Huntsville, AL facility. Please note that due to our Department of Defense contract requirements, U.S. CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED.
JOB TITLE: Assembler
Shift: 4A (Monday-Thursday)
JOB PURPOSE:
Performs a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
NATURE OF WORK:
-Operate various hand tools
-Perform repetitive task on assembly line
-Follow written instructions from formal procedures
-Lift or move materials usually not in excess of 15 pounds
-Fill out paperwork associated with assigned work task
Must be able to read and understand respective local language
Must be willing to work occasional overtime
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
