RESPONSIBILITIES: Design, build, integrate, and maintain data platforms critical to the Sanofi Digital Data Team. Must work with business and technical teams to understand requirements, and translate them into technical needs to enable and expand our data products and services. Partner with Product Owner, Data Architects and other Data Engineers to prioritize the data platform implementation plan Ensure automation best practices are a foundational component in building data platforms. Actively contribute to Digital Data Community. TECHNICAL SKILLS: Good knowledge of AWS/Cloud Computing (Knowledge of Azure or GCP a plus) Significant Experience working across data engineering platforms with a focus on Airflow, TIBCO, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Informatica Cloud Knowledge of integration design patterns and data engineering best practices Working knowledge of SQL and Python (Familiarity with other scripting languages a plus) Experience with Snowflake related services such as DBT, HVR, Snowpipe a plus. Experience with AWS data-related services such as EMR, Glue, S3, Lambda. Experience (and enjoyment) working with emerging technologies Experience with automation and devops capabilities such as Terraform, Ansible, Github, BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering, or Information Management preferred 5 years working engineering Data Platforms from start to finish Experience in the bio/pharmaceutical industry is a plus Understanding / exposure to global regulatory controls such as SOX, GXP, GDPR Fluent in English SOFT SKILLS: Pragmatic and capable of solving complex issues Ability to understand business needs Good communication Push innovative solutions Service-oriented, flexible & team player Self-motivated, take initiative Attention to detail & technical intuition As a healthcare company and a vaccine manufacturer, Sanofi has an important responsibility to protect individual and public health.
