Position Title: Deputy Director Retail Marketing
Job Overview:
The Deputy Director of Retail Marketing will support the development and implementation of the US retail pharmacy vaccine strategy to optimize performance within the retail segment. This role will support strategy development and tactical execution within retail to meet customer needs and internal objectives. The individual should have experience working in a cross-functional environment, as they will work closely with retail sales, Sanofi marketing, market access, legal and regulatory. This position requires a highly-motivated individual who can work effectively in a dynamic environment with a high degree of autonomy and creative problem-solving skills to identify trends and future needs and communicate this to all relevant stakeholders.
This position is remote based in the US and will report to the Director of Retail Marketing at VaxServe.
Responsibilities:
Develop, present, and execute annual retail marketing plans including objectives, strategy, tactics, and forecasts
Meet with influential contacts within top retailers to expand VaxServe reach and influence through marketing campaigns
Partner closely with the Retail sales team to ensure message pull through, provide support, monitor education needs, and uncover opportunities
Demonstrate deep knowledge of the retail vaccine market and trends to form long-term strategies and solutions
Manage/support the Agency of Record
Lead/support the development, creation, and implementation of branded and unbranded promotional materials
Ensure that all marketing processes, documents, and tactics are developed and implemented in accordance with Sanofi Pasteur and VaxServe corporate compliance
Develop and manage promotional budget and monitor the productivity of all promotional programs
Participate in cross-functional teams including brand marketing, market research, market access, legal, regulatory, and other functions
Requirements & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant marketing experience
Candidates will work Eastern Time Zone hours but may live elsewhere
Strategic thinker with demonstrated formal presentation development and delivery skills required
Demonstrated abilities to prioritize and manage multiple projects, and effectively influence, collaborate, and communicate with internal and external partners
Ability to manage external vendors and effective budget management
Detail-oriented self-starter capable of owning initiatives from beginning to end
High level of personal and professional integrity with a strong work ethic
Ability to travel ~25%
