Job Title: Site Training Capability Lead

Reports To: Business Transformation Manager

Department: Manufacturing Management

Location: Chattanooga

Job Summary

The Sanofi Consumer Healthcare Manufacturing and Supply team is seeking a candidate to lead the Chattanooga site Learning & Development function for CHC in the US. This position will partner with the Directors of Operations, Quality, Finance, HSE, Manufacturing Excellence and HR in developing a comprehensive Learning & Development framework for Sanofi’s US Consumer Healthcare Manufacturing and Supply division. This colleague will play an integral role in designing the Chattanooga site organization L&D plans and capability strategy and will be the primary colleague responsible for strategy of delivering all training programs in partnership with key internal stakeholders (i.e., HR) and third-party partners.

This is a high-profile position working with other colleagues locally, and globally, to improve our organizational capabilities and enable the organization to elevate its core competencies and our overall company profile as strategic manufacturer partner. The work of this individual will be critical to the success of the CHC business in the US as he/she will be accountable for the Manufacturing and Supply new hire onboarding process as well as continuing education plan. This candidate will have a direct impact on the company’s future growth and success and needs to lead through role modeling, demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset, and embody a “People First” mentality. customer-facing experience is a must to be able to connect and empathize with the Manufacturing and Supply organization.

Role Specific Responsibilities

  • Develop resources and experiences to reinforce the core competencies and enhance capabilities of the Manufacturing and Supply teams including new hire onboarding, new education launch planning and strategy, leadership skills and ongoing professional development.

  • Develop and implement yearly Manufacturing and Supply curriculum/plan

  • Collaborate with cross functional team on planning and execution of training at education events and other organization wide initiatives as needed.

  • Manage and facilitate new hire training curriculum and onboarding plan.

  • Lead and leverage “Learning Ambassador” teams to reinforce learnings and collect feedback on development needs.

  • Assist in RFP process with outside consultants and vendors assist Sanofi CHC with training of the organization, when applicable.

  • Implement key metrics to track and communicate value and impact of training and

development initiatives.

  • Inform key stakeholders across the organization of educational resources and training support provided by Sanofi and CHC Manufacturing and Supply.

  • Develop strategies to execute innovative and effective ways of delivering training and

enhance engagement.

  • Work with Manufacturing and Supply leaders to ensure that all individuals have a personal development education plan.

  • Ensure training materials and communications align with CHC Standard Operating procedures.

  • Create local community relationships related to educational, professional development opportunities for Manufacturing and Supply team members.

  • Represent Sanofi Manufacturing and Supply in the local community increasing brand awareness and creating partnering relationships to meet Chattanooga Manufacturing and Supply division goals and expectations.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred

  • Experience: 3 or more years of experience working in Learning & Development and executing training programs.

  • Must have excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, to develop and deliver training materials.

  • Strong project management skills – ability to plan, set priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines; works with a sense of urgency and efficiency.

  • Strategic thinker – Skilled at taking a broad view and drawing information from diverse and varied sources to develop impactful learning & development plans that enables the commercial organization to achieve its objectives.

  • Change management champion to ensure deployed training concepts and newly learned capabilities are adapted by the organization.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

  • Solid management skills with ability to provide clear guidance, direction, and feedback.
