The Food Safety Technician monitors programs and procedures to ensure food safety and regulatory compliance of our process and product. The operation meets Seafood HACCP requirements and is FSSC 22000 - GFSI certified.
Responsibilities include: Conduct plant walk-through audits and pre-operation inspections; scheduled temperature, metal detector, and label accuracy checks. Monitor and verify Receiving, Production, Logistics, Sanitation records, and activities. Upload and verify records on a cloud-based food safety management system. Support quality system activities such as employee training, supplier assessments, regulatory inspections, and customer audits.
