Job Title: Staff
Reports To: Director of Operations and/or On Site Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Summary: Responsible for providing a safe enjoyable environment for SYRC membership and guests. A regular staff member enforces all the rules and regulations set forth by the association and maintains the cleanliness of the facility.
***Schedule would be Wednesday-Sunday, 4pm - 9pm
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Works under the Director of Operations and On Site Manager to ensure SYRC is available for member and guest use.*
2. Relays concerns and/or facility updates to Director of Operations and On Site Manager.*
3. Performs general maintenance of the property. Empties trash, takes reservations for tennis and other areas of the property. Consistently walks through property to ensure bathrooms, fitness center, and pool area have adequate supplies of toilet paper, hand towels, soap, hand sanitizer, gym and equipment wipes. When needed, vacuums and mops general areas of clubhouse and pool building.*
4. Identifies maintenance issues or damage and reports to Director of Operations or On Site Manager. Makes sure property is safe for member use.*
5. Attends ALL SYRC events when needed, including but not limited to SYRC movie nights,
Easter egg hunt, Labor Day festivities, Halloween, and holiday gatherings as directed by
On Site Manager or Director of Operations.*
6. Performs proper and safe opening and closing of SYRC facility.*
7. Enforces ALL reservations in ordinance with current public health guidelines including but not limited to: Tennis, Pickleball, Playground, Pool Area, Fitness Center, Clubhouse, and common areas of property.*
8. Answers telephone for facility to take reservations and/or requests from members.
9. Tops off janitorial supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, and soap.
Qualifications:

Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of answering telephones and taking reservations.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions (non- weather), work in high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold (non- weather), extreme heat (non-weather), vibration, and checking pool chemistry and adding necessary pool chemicals if needed.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
