Senior QA Automation Engineer

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Summary of Responsibilities:
QA Automation Engineer Associate is a senior level engineer on the QA team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated & manual tests. Should understand business fundamentals on the assigned project, support team and ensure quality standards are maintained and best practices are demonstrated; have technical and communication skills to be able to lead and mentor junior test engineers.
Essential Job Functions:
• Analyze the Requirements from BRD & FSD
• Skilled in Agile Development & Testing
• Need to be skilled in Programming Concepts - including knowledge in C #, Dot net, Java
• Skilled in building & using Automation Framework
• Skilled in Jmeter, Postman, to perform API testing.
• Create & Execute Automated Test Scripts based on Test Cases
• Skilled in writing SQL queries and SQL Databases
• Identify and subsequently define the required Test Strategy, Test Scenarios/Test Cases and associated test data
• Prepare Test Cases based on User Stories
• Prepare / Extract Test Data for each the test case
• Review the Test Cases with Business and other team members
• Execute the Test Cases on JIRA / Test Foundation Server (TFS)
• Skilled in Defect Tracking and Reporting
• Prepare Daily Status report and QA Summary Reports at the end of each Iteration
• Evaluating the outcome of each test cycle and providing test results
• Communication with Project Team members & Business Users
• Involved in Regression Testing and submitting the Regression Testing Reports.
• Mentors junior staff members in all areas of QA team
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in IT related fields preferred.
• Minimum 8 plus years software testing experience in in automated & manual testing.
• Excellent coding abilities to create Automated tests in C# .
• Development experience must be full Life Cycle experience including business requirements gathering, test planning, data management, executing tests, automation practices.
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to lead multiple complex projects and communicate clearly with leaders and team members.
• Ability to handle fast-paced environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience.
• Experience leading a small team of QA Engineers onsite & Offshore
• Ability to interact with business and work on end-to-end testing
Nice to have skills:
• Experience in C# coding, development skills
• Experience in JSON API testing
• Experience in Test data management.
• Experience in SQL query and SQL databases
• Financial Services (Lending) experience.
• Experience working with onsite & offshore QA teams.
