Responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and updating Santander Middleware platforms in accordance with the needs of the company and regulatory needs. Activities include evaluating, scheduling and resourcing development projects, investigating software development teams needs, building, testing, and maintaining the middleware platforms, and preparing systems documentation. Executes technical plans, system analysis, detailed design specifications, taking the platforms through ARB approval process, development, unit and component testing. Collaborates with cross functional teams to implement complex projects.
Responsibility
Manages the Roadmap for implementing new features for the Enterprise middleware platforms. Authors and drives feature specifications with the dedicated Engineering team. Defines the customer journey and user experience and partner with our creative staff to deliver amazing designs. Leads a team of architects, senior platform engineers and domain SMEs to deliver regulatory compliant middleware platform leveraging agile methodology.

Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
Work Experience: 9-12 years ; Middleware Engineering Management, Software Development Team Management and/or Application Portfolio Management.
Skills And Abilities
Proven track record managing large, complex software development/integration projects in both host and distributed environments.
Deep technical expertise in managing large middleware platforms that includes, Confluent Kafka and its products, IBM API Connect, Mulesoft, OpenShift & Kubernetes container platforms, Automating Springboot microservices deployments using Github Actions.
Knowledge of AWS Cloud platform and its native services that includes but not limited to EC2, ECS, EKS, S3 is required.
Demonstrated knowledge of external competition, industry and/or market trends in relation to own business.
Demonstrated understanding of IT Service Management concepts and procedures.
Demonstrated knowledge of the latest technology innovations and their applicability to business operations.
Demonstrated relationship management and leadership skills with a superior ability to make things happen through the use of influence and negotiation with all levels of management.
Proactive team player with effective time management skills; ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines/projects and keep key players informed. Experienced with quality management.
