Sante Health System in Fresno, CA is seeking to hire a full-time Customer Service Representative. This role is responsible for fielding, researching, analyzing, and resolving member generated inquiries.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent required.
- 1-2 years' experience in managed care of health insurance claims environment.
- Strong customer service background required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Resolves issues with HMO provider/subscriber representatives.
- Assists with managing the Customer Service Departments daily faxes received.
- Fields, researches, and analyzes member generated inquiries.
- Communicates, as needed, including verbal, and written to representatives and supervisor.
- Develops comprehensive knowledge of department activities, handles inquiries and provides responses as it relates to area of responsibility for both departments.
- Provides qualified, responsible, and professional assistance that will demonstrate Santé Health System to be a company of quality service for the community.
- Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Provides continual and ongoing assessment and improvement of work processes.
- Constantly strives to anticipate and exceed customer expectations.
- In the spirit of teamwork, employees are expected to follow any other job-related instructions and to perform any other job-related duties as requested.
