Job Description

The Manager, HRIS (EMEA) will support both Global and EMEA HRIS Center of Expertise (COE) in progressing HRIS efficiency to the next level in line with the business needs and continued enhancement of Santen’s ERP in EMEA.

The position will manage projects including the development, implementation and testing of systems modifications/enhancements of global and regional (EMEA) HR Information Systems that underpin and continuously improve the HR strategic objectives across the different HR activities. This role will as well conduct data quality audits, people analytics, facilitate information gathering, guide users on system procedures and ensure that system structure & information is accurate.

  • Act as the technical subject matter expert for all HRBPs and HR Operations Specialists across the region to support them in all HRIS matters and the different modules of Success Factors.
  • Collaborate with the Global HRIS team to drive and harmonize the implementation of new software, modules or automated solutions that will generate additional value to HR processes, system efficiency and benefit for the business.
  • Drive data analytics and reporting in the region through Success Factors reports and other data analytics tools.
  • Drive the implementation of SF new modules and the enhancement of existing modules at a regional and global level. Project manage the implementation or enhancement (directly or via 3rd party vendors) to the HR systems in EMEA.
  • Promote HRIS solutions to EMEA HR team and other stakeholders (i.e. Finance, IT, employees), communicating the value of features and functionality and providing hands-on training where necessary.
  • Manage daily Success Factors operations related to the organizational data maintenance in Employee Central.
  • Ensure best practices excellence to constantly optimize the usage of the system.
  • Provide functional support on Success Factors, working directly with HR local and regional stakeholders in managing data requests and translating functional requirements to technical design through hands-on analysis, data entry or uploads and workflows setup.
  • Collaborate with 3rd party vendors, functional and IS/IT team to coordinate the application of systems upgrades, new functionalities and configuration change of interface with non-HR systems. Maintain documentation about systems changes.
  • Coordinate and/or prepare systems setup and maintenance in relation with time, performance and compensation management.
  • Support requests for reports, organizational data, and analytics, and train end users on how to access this information themselves.
  • Audit systems on a regular basis to verify the integrity and availability of organizational data. Find root causes, ensure correction, and provide recommendations for improved and sustainable data management processes.
  • Ensure that HR systems and HR data management are GDPR compliant and data integrity is maintained.
  • Assess and implement bi-annual Success Factors Releases and new features. Participate actively in the Success Factors community to stay current on best practices and ensure continuous improvement and optimization of our system.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, IT or related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience supporting Human Resource Information System  as “super-user”
  • Previous experience (at least 2 years) with Success Factors (Employee Central, Compensation, Recruitment, Talent, Time-off, LMS modules)
  • Led successfully several regional HRIS Projects (i.e. new HCM module implementation or HCM module deployment at a regional level)
  • Previous experience with data visualization and analytical tools (i.e. Excel, Power BI, etc)
  • Previous experience working for an international company with remote management
  • Good understanding of HRIS database design, structure, functions and processes
  • Good understanding of Employee Data maintenance and reporting
  • Fundamental understanding of Total Rewards concepts (i.e. Base Pay, STI / SIP, Compa Ratio, etc)
  • Functional working knowledge of HR processes
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Demonstrated expertise with technology systems, Excel, and other personal computer applications
  • Fluent in English
