Summary of Position:
Incumbent in this position is responsible to assist the Project Director for the SAMHSA Tribal Behavioral Health Grant to plan, develop, implement, and coordinate mental health and suicide prevention activities within the community and local schools. Incumbent will consult and collaborate with KFWC program staff, existing service providers, agencies, tribal group, and other organizations in providing optimal mental health and suicide prevention activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Social Services or related field with a minimum of (2) years progressive higher level of experience in prevention outreach/social service; OR an advance combination of education and experience.
- CPSW/CFPSW (lived experienced) Credential or MUST obtain within (1) year of employment.
- Advanced community outreach experience to assist in coordinating a multifunctional organization.
- Advanced oral and written communication skills to focus the efforts to meet the Santo Domingo Pueblo goals.
- Tribal Government customs experience preferred.
- Must be fluent in the Keres language.
- Valid New Mexico driver's license with ability to meet Santo Domingo Pueblo liability insurance requirements and maintain eligibility for insurance.
