About our team:
The Central Architecture team designs and develops solutions for hard problems that Concur runs into while hosting such a large Enterprise application on the web. We work on problems that address issues around scalability, compliance, security and manageability of our software and development processes.
Central Architecture:
- Responsible for the architecture, quality and delivery of Concur products.
- Develop tools/processes/standards to help Engineering teams deliver better products – it can involve some sample code development, coaxing of Engineers, persistence and influencing actions of others.
- Ensure that our products meet the security and compliance bars we set for ourselves.
- Make decisions about in-house developments, purchases, or partnerships on product level.
- Work in close collaboration with other teams, such as release management, production, and governance.
Position Requirements

Experience and Education Requirements:
- Bachelor/Masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 10 years experience Senior Software Developer/Architect
- Deep understanding of large scale cloud applications such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
- 8 years Backend Development experience including C or Java or Python
