About the Team
SAP Integrated Business Planning for Supply Chain (SAP IBP) is a cloud-based solution that combines sales and operations planning (S&OP), forecasting and demand, response and supply, demand-driven replenishment, and inventory planning. SAP IBP offers powerful supply chain analytics, machine learning algorithms, what-if simulations, alerts, and more. Within our team, we practice a trust-based working model according to the scrum methodology.
We are seeking a Quality Specialist at our Pittsburgh, PA location responsible for working in a cross functional development or testing team, with special focus to quality assurance and test related tasks within the product creation process.
Expectations and Tasks
- Analyze, define, implement, and execute quality and test related activities according to a given quality and test strategy for the product area.
- Create a detailed test design incl. test system landscape requirements and product standards, prepares tests (customizing & master data), author and execute manual and/or automated tests.
- Analyze test results (issues) and take appropriate follow-up actions.
- Is subject matter expert in the team in terms of quality assurance and test related processes, methods, and tools.
- Possess basic product domain knowledge incl. relevant business processes & scenarios and a basic understanding of customer needs.
- Proficient knowledge about relevant product and process standards, important legal requirements as well as quality assurance and test related tools.
Education and Qualifications/ Skills and Competencies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Planning, Mathematics, or related field of study with 3 years of professional work experience or Master's degree with 2 years of professional work experience.
Work Experience
Professional work experience must include a minimum of 2-3 years in the following areas:
- Supply Chain Planning
- Plant and/or Production Scheduling
- SQL
- Database Management
- Test Plan Development
- Agile/Scrum
- Coordination amongst multi-location testing teams
- Experience/training with scripting or coding is a plus
