PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
SAP’s Services strategy is driving innovative services to customers from an end-to-end perspective. Within Services, the Intelligent Delivery Group (IDG) is dedicated to deliver highest excellence customer adoption in line with SAP’s Strategy with focus on time-to-value and customers satisfaction. IDG is the Trusted Partner for all customers and internal SAP stakeholders globally. IDG delivers excellence by:
Helping customers on their journey to digitalization across all solutions working in close collaboration with the SAP Service regions- Providing an unparalleled service experience On Premise, in the Cloud as well as hybrid
Through its alignment with Product Engineering and the IBUs, IDG is centerstage for leading the content community not only across IDG, but also across all Services Regions and MUs. The primary framework for orchestrating these activities is driven via the IDG ‘Content Hubs’ (naming TBD).
‘Content Hubs’ serve as the global expert and content owner layer for Services in support of internal and external SAP stakeholders:
- Through its dedicated global expert teams, it acts as a centralized multiplier to drive the global industry and core portfolio as well as E2E advisory knowledge.
- It orchestrates the cross-regional sharing of global community knowledge for key industry and core areas.
The ‘Content Hub’ is working in close alignment with product engineering, IBUs and the Global Services Senior Leadership Team and holds a strategic position and high visibility across those functions.
As a Global Solution Principal – BRIM/ FICA / RAR focus in our global Digital Finance Content Hub Team, you will play an instrumental role to:
- Successfully deliver customer outcomes for SAP customers with an active Finance transformation program globally in teamwork with the regional/ local delivery teams
- Roll-in industry market/customer requirements across all regions to productize service packages and content
- Support SAP industry and functional stakeholders across Product Engineering and Sales with deep solution knowledge
QUALIFICATIONS
- Relevant degree, as well as adequate career in working with Finance systems solutions and business processes. Ideally a combination of hands on work experience and consulting preferred.
- Profound knowledge of the SAP Services business for the respective area as well as internal SAP processes
- Expert in Revenue Accounting/RAR, Innovations in Revenue Management (BRIM), Subscription billing and FI integration
- Very strong analytical, and conceptual skills
- Pro-active driver, team-player, results-oriented, with a can-do attitude
- Works, collaborates and influences key stakeholders across organizational layers
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Self-driven motivation to drive SAP’s success in the office of the CFO by securing our customer’s success and knowledge growth across the eco-system. Work in a global expert team within the Digital Finance cluster to fulfill following key tasks:
Drive customer success by delivering SAP projects and act as a globally trusted strategic advisor for customers and partner eco-system- Support License & Services Sales across the globe with thought leadership & expert knowledge and drive incubation and create lighthouse customer cases
- Capture, package and create global innovative assets with outcome-based and faster time-to-value to accelerate customer adoption
- Support definition and build of new solution components that drive market adoption across the LACE model in close alignment with Product Engineering
- Lead the knowledge collection, sharing and distribution to educate across the eco-system to increase SAP’s footprint inclusive of partner enablement
WORK EXPERIENCE & ADDITIONAL SKILLS
- 10 years working experience in the area of the office of the CFO.
- 8 years working experience as Consultant or Solution Architect for SAP solutions in the RAR/FICA/BRIM space
- Fluent in English is required, additional language is a plus
- Ability and willingness to undertake global travel
- America’s time (Canada/NA/Latin America) zone preferred
