Purpose and Objective:
Ariba, Inc. seeks a Technology Consultant at our Alpharetta, GA location to be responsible for assessing technical and functional issues and developing system solutions for the deployment and the ongoing support of Ariba cloud and on-premise based products and solutions.
Expectations and Tasks:
Support the customer throughout the life cycle of the customer engagement. Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME), in analyzing, designing, and understanding system architecture, functionality and customizations required. Provide expert functional and technical support (L2 & L3) across Ariba cloud as well as on-premise solutions. Assess customer’s Ariba solutions (Ariba Upstream, Ariba Procure-to-Pay and Ariba Network) and assist in system configuration. Plan and manage multiple customer projects and handle customer expectations effectively and efficiently. Prepare detailed plan of process implementation. Define detailed blueprint for development requirements. Serve as advisor to customers throughout the engagement. Lead escalations resolution. Support system optimization and performance. Serve as technical advisor across customer engagements as required.
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field of study and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. The Company will also accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field of study and 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
Work Experience:
Experience must involve 3 years in the following:
- Customize, analyze, design, and architect SAP Ariba Buying and Invoicing, Sourcing and Contract, and Supplier Lifecycle and Performance modules for Cloud Solutions;
- Customize, Analyze, Design, and Architect SAP Ariba On-Premise Solutions;
- End to End Ariba On-Premise to Ariba Cloud On-Demand Migration;
- Technical planning, deployment, and production support;
- Support Package Stacks, including Service Pack Upgrade, Technical Architecture, Change Management, and Testing;
- Programming Languages, including Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, SQL, HTML, and Unix Script;
- Windows and Unix Operating System; and
- Monitor system performance.
Travel: N/A. Telecommuting permitted. Position must be based in the Eastern time zone.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $122,429 - $136,980. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $122,429 - $152,200. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
