ROLE DESCRIPTION:

Challenge yourself by selling the intrinsic value of software solutions to our customers. Grow with one of the most successful field sales organizations in the world as a HCM Sales Development Executive.

The primary responsibility of the HXM Sales Development Representative is to build pipeline and uncover new opportunities for our field sales organization within the SuccessFactors line of business. The HXM Sales Development Representative partners with Account Executives on account strategy while leveraging SAP’s internal resources to help drive opportunities to closure.

 

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:

  • Creating and prioritizing strategic cold-calling and prospecting initiatives to generate new business qualified opportunities to build sales pipeline
  • Conducting high level qualifying conversations with our core audience in a consultative approach over the telephone.
  • Following up on leads and conduct research to identify potential prospects within defined territories/vertical segments
  • Building cross-departmental trusted relationships and understanding operational business processes/challenges linked to the corporate strategic goals of our prospective customers and connecting these with the HXM Cloud/SuccessFactors portfolio of solutions.
  • Meeting and exceeding pipeline contribution and sourced bookings quota to help accelerate revenue growth
  • Identifying key buying influencers within prospects to determine budget and timeline
  • Building and cultivating prospect relationships by initiating communication and conducting appropriate follow-up in order to move opportunities through the sales funnel

 

WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Preferably 1-2 years’ experience in complex solutions sales
  • Successful experience in multichannel go-to-market model
  • Experience working in Human Resources preferred

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business or IT-related discipline
  • Proven sales ability and drive
  • An understanding of SAP solutions is an asset
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong facility with teamwork and an ability to learn and adapt quickly
  • Ability to serve as a trusted advisor to customers
  • Strong customer focus and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to articulate the SAP value proposition clearly in an industry context and to listen actively to customers to identify prioritized customer needs
  • Ability to work independently with a strong drive for results
  • Knowledge and understanding of Indirect channel dynamics
