Location:  Miami, FL (and various client sites nationwide)

 

Purpose and Objective: 

SAP America, Inc seeks a Finance Operations Manager at our Miami, FL location (and various client sites nationwide) responsible for developing a high performing team sharing common purpose.

 

Expectations and Tasks:

Lead teams with passion and empathy sharing common goals; improve the employee engagement by creating an atmosphere of mutual trust in a friendly and open working environment. Ensure customer success by contributing to a positive customer experience. Be accountable for effective and efficient delivery of daily operations. Own the relationship with our customers and business partners including the right level of communication, resolution of customers’ problems, and de-escalation. Improve customer satisfaction. Lead and own the initiatives to improve the operational excellence in the Cash Collections organization. Act as a role model for innovative and agile approaches. Drive process optimizations and enhance team’s productivity. Drive and embrace the change in the region of your responsibility; understand the business case for change and engage early with your team. Actively contribute/ lead initiatives related to cash collections business strategy (Best Run Cash Flow, NGBC, Cash Collections Franchise, Digital Finance. 20% travel required to various client sites nationwide.

 

Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Law, Economics or Business, or related field of study and 7 years of experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and 5 years of experience.

 

Work Experience:

Experience must involve 5 years in the following: business acumen & knowledge of SAP’s portfolio, products and organizational structure; End-to-end knowledge and respective interdependencies related to the quote-to-cash process as well as suspension/termination process; Cash Collections processes and practices; working with or in commercial/CFO organization (customer interactions, contracting and deal approval process, Q2C, terminations); Program management skills with ability to drive complex strategic projects independently; Driving significant change to reliable business outcomes and high employee satisfaction; Global and virtual teams experience across multiple lines of businesses, geographies and cultures; SAP systems and tools including FI-AR, FI-AP, CRM, CMS, S4 HANA and similar SAP tools; and conflict resolution and generation of commercial remedies focused in cash acceleration. 20% travel required to various client sites nationwide.
