Purpose and Objective

SAP CX is currently seeking a Solutions Architect to work as a subject matter expert on Customer Data Management Solutions (CIAM and CDP) within the Sales organization.  Solutions Architects are responsible for consulting on industry best practices and driving client behavior to ensure revenue acceleration. In the Sales and Pre-Sales environment, Solutions Architects interface with clients, executive leadership, and support internal sales team to provide subject matter expertise on solution design. This role is also tasked with assistance in seamless transition to Professional Services for delivery of the client's program. A solutions architect is well-versed in complex business models, large enterprise deployment scenarios, and is 100% focused on solving customer problems.

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide deep subject matter expertise in the sales cycle to solve business, technical, and operational challenges presented by customers and prospects.. Leveraging complex business and deployment experience to help clients understand what it will take to deploy, manage and maintain a program. Call out gaps and opportunities that exist within clients and help them build out what it takes to advance their program.
  • Partner with new and existing clients to architect solution designs; as well as education around program expansion and opportunities. Design and run category analysis workshops.
  • Provide subject matter expertise related to integration capabilities and design.
  • Build and maintain working relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders; be able to effectively liaise with all stakeholders responsible for a client buying decision.
  • Work with sales executives during the sales cycle to ensure revenue acceleration, client satisfaction, and subject matter expertise on a variety of programmatic and systematic topics, with a specific focus around identity management.
  • Communicate information effectively across a broad audience, both technical and non-technical, to propose new and innovative solutions to complex business problems.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of the customer identity industry and be seen as a trusted SME within and outside the organization, including strategic reasoning behind new and existing functionality.
  • Identify trends within the industry and amongst clients for proactive dissemination to Product Management and Marketing.

 

We’re Looking For:

  • SAP CX is looking for candidates that have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related degree.
  • At least 5 years experience working in a software organization in a client-facing role.
  • At least 5 years experience deploying large enterprise customers.
  • At least 2 years experience deploying or managing global customers.
  • At least 3 years experience implementing, designing, or architecting client integrations.
  • At least 3 years experience working the identity management solutions (authentication, authorization, and/or big data) or customer data management.
  • Enterprise-level business project experience with a background in process analysis, design, and documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to think analytically and aptitude to solve complex business problems.
