Project Manager/Estimator/Superintendent

Sapphire Construction is a medium sized Excavation and Site Civil Contractor. We primarily serve the Flathead Valley. Our services range from residential site prep and excavation to commercial site clearing, sub grade preparation, wet and dry utilities, and mass grading.

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager/Estimator to oversee construction projects and ensure their successful completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in excavation construction management and project coordination, with proficiency in various construction software tools.

Job Duties

- Manage on-site activities during construction projects

- Coordinate with subcontractors, architects, engineers, GCs, and public works officials.

- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budget

- Track equipment and man hours

- Complete daily project reports

- Develop and track submittals, RFIs and payment applications

- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are met

- Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations

- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders

- Perform quantity take offs, acquire sub and supplier pricing, and fully prepare project estimates and scope letters for submission

Experience Requirements

- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting civil and structural drawings

- Experience with construction management software such as ProCore, BusyBusy, Blubeam and Buildertrend

- Strong project scheduling skills to ensure timely completion

- Familiarity with Trimble GPS and models

- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
