About the Role: Sarah's Silks is currently seeking a part-time Customer Care & Social Media Assistant to work remotely and help deliver excellent customer care to our expansive base of online retail customers via email, phone, website chat, and social media (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and others). This position will also support our Wholesale Sales & Customer Relations Manager in executing various social media campaigns.

The brand has popularized Waldorf-inspired parenting ideas through their sustainably crafted, heirloom quality playroom and pretend play essentials that can be found in classrooms, homes, museum gift shops, and specialty stores all over the world.

About YOU: Experienced in customer service with a genuine love for engaging with people and being a part of a team. Other details: This is a part-time position that will work remotely, but applicants must reside in California or Washington state.
- Hours: 18 hrs/wk
- Anticipated schedule: Monday - Thursday; afternoons (between the hours of 12-6pm PST) at least one weekend shift (weekend hours flexible but PST afternoons preferred)
- Pay range: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Maintain up to date knowledge of brand mission, history, and products
- Work closely with marketing team to ensure consistent delivery of brand message
- Deliver communication that meets company guidelines and matches the brand’s tone and voice in all customer-facing material and interactions
- Provide generous and fair solutions to any and all customer grievances
- Consistently and effectively relay customer feedback to supervisors
- Interact with creators to onboard them to our affiliate program
- Send out promotional products as requested by affiliates
- Perform other tasks related to social media campaigns as directed by Wholesale Sales & Customer Relations Manager
Job Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on telephone
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and communication platforms at once
- Excellent computer proficiency (Google Suite, Slack, Monday, Meta Business Suite)
- Quick to learn new tools/programs
- Friendly, positive, and professional attitude
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to work independently to complete tasks and assignments as instructed
- Ability to follow prescribed routines and standard accepted practices
- High school diploma or GED required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with public-facing social media in a professional context
- Knowledge of/interest in Waldorf education philosophies, sustainable manufacturing processes, and/or ethical brands
