Our DSP's make a difference in the lives of the people we support. who have intellectual disabilities. This home has 6 people living there. They are very helpful and can do a lot for themselves. They really like baseball and football. One gentleman is a Star Trek fan and several ladies in this home love to watch CHIPS. They are very independent and also help each other. You might go bowling one night and be at the movies on the weekend.

- The starting payrate for this position is $15.75 to $16.75
As a DSP you will spend your time:
- Supporting people with Intellectual Disabilities, while they learn life skills at home, and in their communities
- Teaching and documenting goals according to a person's plan and the way you were trained
- Supporting people in recreation activities, such as going for a walk at the mall while window shopping, participating in an art activity, or playing a game
- Assisting people with personal care such as bathing, toileting, dressing, and grooming
If you have no experience, we will provide paid training.
