Responsibilities
Saratoga Medical currently has 1 full-time Medical Laboratory Technician position to work at Carl Darnell Army Medical Center - Dept of Pathology and Laboratory Services at Fort Hood, TX. The Medical Lab Technicians will work Monday through Sunday, 40 hour a week full time schedule to include either five 8 hour work shifts per week or four 10 hour work shifts per week, as needed by the department, on various shifts. The CURRENT shift availablility is for the afternoon shift - 3:00p - 11:30pm with 30 minute lunch break.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience within the last 3 years as a MedicalLaboratory Technician
- Certification/Registration by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or as an AMT
- Graduate from a medical laboratory training technician program accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) or the ABHES or any program acceptable to the American Medical Technologist (AMT)
- BLS certification required prior to start date
