What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Analyst position at Saratoga Source, LLC?
Key Objectives
UAM’s clients and work types are diverse in both the clients and types of projects we manage. This fast-paced and ever-changing work provides large opportunities for cost reduction strategies, as well as building on current tools to help our teams proactively manage their work. The key objectives of this position are:
- Manage and build on our current cost tracking to provide better clarity and transparency to costs and cost forecasting. (Assist as we transition to SAP S4 Hana)
- Analyze data sets for our recruiting team as well as our operations teams and provide timely and useful reporting to help managers make better decisions.
- Manage material invoice tracking and inventory reporting
- Compare budget vs. actual financials on a project level and be able to dissect variances.
- Month-end invoicing and WIP reconciliation
- Understanding, and improving where necessary, our current financial tools (Spreadsheets and associated tools)
- Gain a strong understanding of SAP reporting.
- Identify areas of inconsistent processes and improve on those areas
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Basic understanding of operations and cost drivers
- Background in accounting, bookkeeping, or financials
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to be physically onsite in Richfield office
- Problem solving skills to develop solutions
- SAP experience preferred (not mandatory)
- Project Management software experience preferred (not mandatory)
- 2 or 4-year degree preferred (not mandatory)
- Minimal travel 10-20% may be required
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
