The Financial Analyst - FSI is responsible for playing a lead role in the pricing, financial, and analytical responsibilities within Sargento’s B2B division, Food Service & Ingredients. This includes the execution, analysis, tracking, and reporting of various aspects of Food Service & Ingredient pricing and financial performance. This individual will work collaboratively with FSI leadership, sales staff, customers, and other FP&A team members to provide relevant financial analysis for strategic decision-making efforts.

What You Do.
- Administer division pricing strategies for all FSI segments, product lines, plan-to accounts, customer accounts, and brokers.
- Administer quarterly pricing updates within SAP and manage customer notifications, which includes issuance of pricing letters as well as entering pricing and sales freight information into customer forms, computer systems, and portals as required.
- Analyze and issue payments against customer rebates and accruals.
- Track distribution conflicts and analyze distributor pricing for deviations and associated billbacks.
- Collaborate with accounting to review, approve, and dispute customer deductions and billbacks, and assist with the quantification of customer receivables.
- Serve as primary resource to Customer Service Team for all pricing related inquiries and issues.
- Review sales orders placed on the Verify Pricing block, take any action needed to prepare for release and request their release from pricing block.
- Lead the analysis of customer price change impacts.
- Responsible for supporting all FP&A functions of FSI, including but not limited to: Reporting, Analysis of variances versus expectations, Forecasting, Budgeting, Innovation Tracking, Quarterly BOD updates, etc...
- Responsible for preparation and recommendation of product cost estimates for new product quoting and new material system setup.
- Proactively provide tools, analytics and insight that will help fuel profitable growth for the FSI business unit.
- Ad-Hoc customer and product analyses as required by business priorities in support of overall growth strategies.
- Responsible for analytical support of hedging program in alignment with company policy.
- Identify, design, and implement improvements to the cost/pricing process to improve division/customer service levels.
- Serve as a backup to the Financial Analysis Manager for responsibilities such as quote creation and analysis.
Your Education and Experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 1-3 years related work experience.
