The Business Systems Manager is responsible for managing internal and external Business Systems Analysts and Architects. The Business Systems Manager will oversee the successful execution of strategic projects and support all Sartori Company’s Business Systems applications. In addition, the Business Systems Manager will be responsible for implementing and maintaining processes to ensure quality deliverables, a high degree of customer service and limit the negative business impact associated with system changes. The Business Systems Manager will play a key role in shaping solutions that all Sartori Company business functions rely on to be successful.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership:
- Provide strategic input for the direction of Business Systems.
- Execute Business Systems projects and support initiatives.
- Systems Development and Configuration:
- Recommend, document, and manage systems development and configuration design standards, methods, and tools.
- Ensure consistency and alignment with departmental standards.
- Identifies technical alternatives and makes recommendations to address problems.
- Strategic Initiatives:
- Drive the success of strategic initiatives by leveraging technology solutions.
- Contribute to shaping solutions that all Sartori Company business functions rely on to be successful.
- Responsible for requirements gathering, solution design, estimation of effort, timeline proposals, and other planning activities as needed.
- Support Process Management:
- Develop and maintain efficient support processes.
- Ensure timely resolution of system-related issues.
- Enhancement Requests:
- Evaluate enhancement requests from business units.
- Prioritize and coordinate implementation based on business impact.
- Resource Management:
- Manage both internal and external resources.
- Oversee day-to-day administration of processes used by the Business Systems Analysts and Architects.
- Resource Allocation:
- Assign Business Systems resources to meet business requirements.
- Lead and manage team resources for effective support coverage.
- Performance Evaluation and Improvement:
- Conduct fair and objective performance evaluations.
- Facilitate open communication and encourage continuous improvement.
- Portfolio Planning:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to plan and prioritize system enhancements.
- Align system improvements with business goals and objectives.
- Adaptability and Flexibility:
- Embrace change and adapt to evolving responsibilities.
- Be open to taking on new challenges and adjusting priorities as business needs shift.
- Hands-On JDE Experience (is a plus)
- Utilize your expertise in JDE ERP system.
- Provide guidance, troubleshooting, and hands-on support as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, mathematics, business administration or related field.
- Proven experience in business systems management, preferably in a complex organizational setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (such as JDE) and integration methodologies.
- Experience with JDE, Hubble, Cloud Inventory, Mulesoft is a plus.
- 10 years of incremental ERP experience.
- This role is a hybrid schedule located in Plymouth, WI.
