Marketing Intern – Sydney Office
We are looking for an enthusiastic marketing intern to join our marketing department and provide creative ideas to help achieve our goals. The successful candidate will be enrolled at a university or tertiary institute and studying marketing or communications. We’re looking for a driven, ambitious individual who wants to create a career in marketing. This role will report to the Head of Marketing ANZ.
This role will be a compensated 6 months internship program designed for undergraduate or postgraduate students that are looking for a challenging, hands-on experience in the B2B marketing territory.
As a marketing intern, you will collaborate with the local ANZ marketing team and the EME-AP Marketing Shared Services team in all stages of marketing campaigns. Your insightful contribution will help develop, expand, and maintain our marketing channels. You will have administrative duties in developing and implementing marketing strategies.
This internship will help you acquire marketing skills and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies and the role of individual departments within a broader marketing team. You will also gain experience across Communications and PR, the GTM team, Customer Advocacy. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in B2B marketing and should be prepared to enter any fast-paced work environment.
Responsibilities and duties
- Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g., social media, content, and web)
- Prepare promotional presentations
- Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks
- Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns
- Help distribute marketing materials
- Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM)
- Help organise marketing events
Qualifications and Skills
- Enrolment in tertiary institute and studying marketing or communications required
- Some knowledge of marketing concepts including content, digital, social and email strategies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with social media strategies and platforms
- Ability to multitask and take initiative
- Flexible work schedule
- Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices
- Hardworking and dedicated outlook
- Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly
- Experience with content creation and events a plus, even if not professionally
- Good analytical, organizational, and creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or part of a team
- Good organizational and executional skills
- Fluency in English
