Sr Manager Sales Operations:

Currently we have a superb opportunity for a Sr Manager, Sales Operations to join an established, international, and reputable company offering a brilliant career path in a dedicated and professional team.As the Sr Manager, Sales Operations, you will assist Senior Sales Management in daily business operations and in representing the Energy Sales vertical or sales division to other internal divisions.Location: Toronto, On and the surround areas preferred.
Primary Responsibilities:
•Provides leadership and direction of projects and initiatives; coordinates activities with other areas that impactsupport of sales management and sales team.•Provides analysis and recommendations to management in matters concerning performance, operations, staffing, and resourcing.•Assists sales management in developing business plans and reviewing with executive management.•Assists executive management with forecasting and financial reporting for sales for the Americas• Manages sales support staff, which may include business systems analysts, consulting operations specialists, business operations specialists, sales coordinators.•Assists with forecasting new and renewal software revenue. Tracks budget, forecast, and operating statements.•Provides clarification and direction on deal structure; coordinates with global sales and field operations to escalate and resolve issues regarding revenue recognition and sales compensation.•Provides leadership and direction of account strategy, coaching and mentoring at account, and vertical levels.•Provides coaching and direction on performance issues at all levels of the sales vertical/sales division.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
•Advanced knowledge of Sales Compensation structure and ability to build Sales Compensation Plans.•Demonstrated leadership and decision-making skills; strong oral and written communication and listening skills.Education and Experience:• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in business or related field • Typically requires twelve years of experience in technology sales account management, sales finance, contracts, or business-related initiative, which is related to the specific area of assignment; including two years in a formal management role.• Preferably worked at a public company and/or helped get a company IPO readyEquivalency:• Equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered in place of the requirements stated above.• The level of this position will be determined based on the applicant's education, skills and experience.
