As a member of the Global Logistics Event Team, the Vehicle Coordinator is responsible for managing multiple events and vehicle fleets from ordering the vehicles, tracking the vehicles, selling the vehicles, and light vehicle maintenance all while maintaining good client relationships and working with multiple departments/teams.
Salary Overview:The pay rate for this role starts at $18 per hour based on experience.
Vehicle Coordinator Responsibilities include:
Order vehicles and update the status of all event units on order tracking logs.
Ensure the event vehicle is transported to and from the event site.
Process bills for tolls, violations, and taxes.
Maintains accurate and up-to-date paper files for each event in compliance with GM policies.
Enters all event paperwork into the GLS system.
Communicate with GM dealerships and vendors for assistance with vehicle prep, repair, plating, or PDIs.
Completes vehicle buybacks promptly and in compliance with GM policy.
Maintain long-term vehicle accounts.
Conduct and process all non-dealer and dealer reimbursements.
Oversee vehicle repairs and quality inspections.
Coordinate between departments and locations to ensure deadlines are met.
Drive vehicles to the dealership for oil changes and or repairs
Prep vehicle for Customer usage, i.e., having the vehicle washed and gassed.
Adhere to Suburban Automotive Service’s DRIVEN values and align business practices to support the SAS mission and vision.
Vehicle Coordinator Qualifications and Skills:
A high school diploma/GED.
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record (required).
1 – 3 years of previous customer service or event planning experience.
Previous automotive experience (preferred).
Strong PC skills with a solid understanding of Microsoft Suite Office products such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical/problem-solving ability.
Excellent organizational skills yet flexible to accomplish objectives that are often subject to change.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision and direction.
Must have superior attendance and be prompt and reliable.
