SaveSolar is seeking to add enthusiastic Entry Level Sales Representatives to our growing team. Our Sales Representative will work directly with the Business Development Team to grow our commercial solar development pipeline. As a member of the team, you will become a part of the fastest-growing commercial solar developer within the Washington, DC area.

In our rapidly growing company, you will be the face of our business seeking to generate appointments and close deals with some of the largest companies in the United States.

The Role

Your role as a Sales Representative will be to contact commercial property owners in DC to generate appointments for our Sales Executives. Each Sales Executive in the team started their solar career generating appointments and when you are ready, you’ll start closing appointments of your own.

We strongly believe in building our people from the ground up and this is an excellent way to get your foot into the solar industry and learn from market leaders.

We are searching for candidates that have some previous sales experience in either a call center environment or a B2B Role.

Candidates who have any formal education in renewable energy and recent college graduates are encouraged to apply.

The hired candidate(s) will be trained in a one-on-one setting by the VP of Business Development and work daily with the rest of the Sales Team. You will learn the best practices to prospect and close large-scale solar deals.

Qualified applicants must be motivated to work in an entrepreneurial setting and have a passion for renewable energy and environmental causes. Excellent business communication and computer skills are a must.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate appointments with commercial building owners interested in solar
  • Prepare and deliver Solar Consultations to clients
  • Follow up with potential customers, current clients, contractors, and colleagues in a timely manner.
  • Represent SaveSolar and its brand with professionalism and integrity.
  • Meet and exceed our lead generation goals.
  • Make a positive impact on the environment and support the SaveSolar mission.

The right candidates will be:

  • Passionate about renewable energy - this is a must!
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 1 years previous experience within a similar sales role (renewable energy experience preferred but not necessary)
  • Bring lots of energy and have a positive attitude
  • Highly driven and internally motivated to succeed
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated, quick thinker, proactive, and passionate about renewable energy
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience with CRM software - Preferably Hubspot and/or SalesForce

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
