Host

We are looking for a customer-focused Host to join our team! You will be welcoming guests, seating them in the restaurant, and helping ensure they enjoy an exceptional dining experience.

This will be for a new location, at one of our clients’ offices. This will be a high-end service, steakhouse inspired location. The hours will be Mon-Thur 3pm-10pm.

COMPENSATION: $15 to $20 per hour.

Host Responsibilities:

· Greet customers and seat them at tables or in waiting areas.

· Providing customers with menus and answering any questions they may have.

· Optimizing seating at different tables for guest.

· Inform guests of current promotions and who will be serving them to ensure a smooth handoff to the service staff.

· Provide champagne service to guests as they arrive.

· Manage the flow of guests into the dining and bar areas, provide accurate wait times to incoming guests if appropriate.

· Assisting guests with their reservations when they arrive.

· Keep the host stand neat, tidy, and presentable for guests.

· Any other duties deemed necessary to the position.

Skills and Qualifications:

· Previous restaurant hosting or serving experience.

· Previous experience in a customer service/hospitality role.

· Ability to articulate clear greetings and farewells to guests, as well as being able to understand requests for assistance.

· Ability to clearly communicate guests’ needs to Servers, Managers, etc.

· Friendly and customer-focused personality.

· Ability to stand for long periods of time.

· Authorized to work in the United States.

· Valid Food Handlers and TABC Certifications.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
