Savvy Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced, customer service focused, Assistant Property Manager.
Contract - April to July 2024
The ideal candidate will have prior rental leasing experience in a larger community and will be able to handle high call volumes, multi-task, organize and prioritize. Attention to detail is imperative.
The Assistant Property Manager assists the Property Manager with the overall operation of the property. This position is also responsible for collecting and posting rent payments, managing resident delinquencies, performing monthly revenue pre-close and closeout, invoice processing, preparing move-out letters and statements of deposits, and processing applications and lease contracts.
Job Requirements:
- Maintain accounts receivable including collecting rent, posting rent, making daily bank deposits, and maintaining a balanced, accurate rent roll.
- Process move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals.
- Assist the leasing team as needed.
- Assist with resident retention, which may involve planning and organizing resident events.
- Responsible for shopping competitive properties, as needed.
- Assists Property Manager in Audits of all new and current lease agreements and resident files for accuracy.
- Assists Property Manager with training staff on leasing, entering traffic into the computer, marketing, maintenance, and general office operations.
- Candidate is required to work a minimum of one weekend a month.
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, preferred.
- Understanding of State and Federal Fair Housing Laws a plus
