Saxony Animal Clinic is located 30 minutes North of Pittsburgh in Sarver, Pennsylvania. Practice Overview
Saxony Animal Clinic is a small animal practice that focuses on providing efficient and affordable care to our clients and their pets. What You’ll Be Working On
- Engaging and communicating with clients and staff
- Getting and maintaining patient information and records
- Primary job functions include surgical prep, anesthesia monitoring, digital x-rays, digital dental x-rays, venipuncture, IV catheter placement, ultrasounds, and preparing lab specimens
- Assist veterinarians with exams, surgeries, and animal restraints
Qualifications
- Veterinary Technician Certification preferred, but not required
- Potential for technical staff team leader position (must have 5 years veterinary experience and also current state license)
- Minimum of 2-years experience as a veterinary technician in a clinic required
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and personal development
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives
