Wellness Director
General Statement of Responsibilities: Plans, develops, organizes implements, evaluates, and directs the day-to-day functions of the nursing department in accordance and in compliance with established policies, procedures & practices, and in compliance with federal, state, local and licensing regulations. Assures quality assurance and quality of resident's care is provided in the nursing department. Ensures adequate staffing patterns and staff are qualified and trained. Responsible for documentation of treatment and nursing care follows applicable regulations and standards set by third party payers such as Medicaid, Medicare, and HMO's.
Bona Fide Occupational Requirement: Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university or a diploma in nursing from an accredited LPN program. Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Knowledge, Skills, & abilities in: Skills include Nursing care & practices, eldercare documentation according to regulations and standards, staff supervision, staff training, treatment planning & implementation, quality assurance, scheduling, hospital/nursing home administration and nursing services, written & interpersonal communication skills, problem solving skills, sound judgement, planning & organization, program development & implementation, resident assessments/ evaluations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
