Sayres is currently seeking a Shipyard Production Analyst with a strong background in HVAC and Piping trade, and experience in Navy ship construction, to join our team in the beautiful area of Marinette, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be a part of the ship construction effort for the Navy's newest Frigate and work alongside a large contingent of Navy and contractor personnel on-site.
As a Production Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data to prepare presentations for higher-level review, including the Navy's Program Manager. You will conduct daily walk-throughs to ensure that modules are pre-outfitted and verify pipe and HVAC installations are in accordance with drawings. Additionally, you will conduct progress surveys for each piping system, and provide reports to document percent complete for each system. You will also develop solutions or recommendations for any issues found on the ship, as well as conduct surveys of HVAC ducting and machinery installations to confirm adherence to drawings and production status.
To be successful in this role, you will need a High School Diploma or GED, with five to seven years of experience in shipyards and shipbuilding. You must also have mid-level and above experience using Microsoft Office Suite Tools, a working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and experience with a variety of software applications on a PC. Additionally, you must be an experienced trade journeyman in Piping or HVAC and have experience in data keeping during a major ship construction program.
The ability to obtain or maintain Secret DoD clearance is required, with active Secret clearance being preferred. You must also be willing to travel up to 10% of the time.
