They are seeking a Building Automation Controls Applications Specialist with excellent customer skills who can help develop new business opportunities.
The company is a rapidly growing building technology service company that combines modern data analytics with highly trained field technicians to deliver outstanding building performance to the clients. They are focused on optimizing building systems, reducing energy consumption, and improving operations. They approach their work as a team to solve complex problems and offer innovative solutions. They are searching for the next team member who will use their Building Automation Systems expertise to help identify and qualify new business opportunities, and then write specifications and sequence of operations for the engineers.
Total compensation up to $130,000.
Primary Duties Include:
- Develop/Write Specification and Sequences of Operation for Engineers
- Provide Presentations and System Demonstrations
- Develop Scope of Work from Plans and Specifications
- Develop Scope of Work for Retrofit of Existing System
- Accurately complete System Take Off and Estimates
- Obtain quotes from subcontractors and suppliers
- Create and Deliver Accurate and Comprehensive Proposals
- Develop and maintain profession relationships with Engineers, Contractors, and End User Customers
- Other duties may be assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning or similar field desired. Engineering degree a plus.
- Degree may be offset by three years of BAS experience or technical sales of BAS.
- Effective interpersonal skills to represent the company to customers and other outside contacts.
- Ability to explain technical information to non-technical people.
- BAS, PC, and strong knowledge of the full suite of Microsoft office required.
