What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Press Brake Operator position at SBI Manufacturing?
SBI Manufacturing is looking for people with press brake operator experience to run our Trumpf Tru Bend 5230. You will be in charge of manipulating metal parts from steel, aluminum, and occasionally stainless steel. Responsibilities
- Operate Pressbrake and other equipment and tools to bend the metal plate to the right dimensions.
- Ensures that there are sufficient raw materials available
- Read prints
- Inspect products, and evaluate finished parts for compliance with quality standards and specifications
- Ensure equipment and work area are clean
- Perform routine maintenance.
- Occasionally create manual bend programs
Skills/Abilities
- Ability to perform tasks safely and effectively
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow product plans.
- basic math and computer skills
- forklift experience
- Ability to read measuring tools such as tape, caliper, etc.
Requirements
- Prolonged periods of standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying tools or materials
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
