SBW & Associates, PC is a full-service accounting firm located in northwest Wyoming. Our Powell office is seeking to hire a part-time Administrative Assistant to join our team. The Administrative Assistant position is a highly technical and detail-oriented position. The position is 20 hours/week May - December and 40 /- a week January - April. Summary
Perform routine clerical and administrative functions in a high traffic environment such as: drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments and reminders, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, printing, processing and e-filing tax returns, providing information to callers/visitors, clients, co-workers and partners, maintaining professional office appearance, ordering and re-stocking office supplies, and running errands for the office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Answer telephones and greet visitors. Handle inquiries by providing information or directing them to the appropriate individuals according to their needs. If necessary, take messages or transfer calls to appropriate individuals.
· Use computers for various applications, such as database management, word processing and processing of tax returns.
· Draft correspondence for the firm according to industry standards, including internal memorandums and client business letters.
· Create, maintain, and enter information into databases, as directed.
· Set up and manage paper or electronic filing systems, recording information, updating paperwork, or maintaining documents, such as client files, tax returns, correspondence, or other material.
· Maintain outstanding tax return list monthly.
· Operate office equipment, such as fax machines, copiers, or phone systems and arrange for repairs when equipment malfunctions.
· Maintain scheduling and event calendars.
· Schedule and confirm appointments for clients, co-workers, or partners.
· Make copies, file, scan or shred, if appropriate, correspondence or other printed material.
· Maintain professional office functionality and appearance by cleaning, organizing and stocking supplies.
· Prepare company mailings and run errands, as directed.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and at least 1 year of related experience and/or training required.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence, including drafting and typing client letters, according to industry standards. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to clients, co-workers and partners.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
