What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chief Financial Officer position at SC&A Inc?
SC&A is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join our team in our Arlington, Virginia office. This person will work closely with our CEO and Sr. VP for Contracts in carrying out the duties described below. The ideal candidate has an MBA and CPA, with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Equivalent Field required. We are looking for candidates with 5-20 years of experience.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial strategy, financial planning and analysis, financial reports, company audits, compliance, and bank relationships. They will collaborate with the CEO and the executive team to make decisions regarding company's financial strategy and operations. The candidate will possess a strong background in finance and management.
Responsibilities
- Create and present financial and tax strategy recommendations to CEO
- Support the financial planning and analysis efforts
- Oversee cash flow, cash management, working capital, and company audits
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Ensure legal compliance on all financial functions
- Manage relationships with banks
Qualifications
- Ideal candidate has experience with JAMIS ERP or Equivalent
- Strong finance-based analytical skills
- 5 - 10 years' of finance experience
- CPA or MBA preferred but not required

This position will accrue 20 days of paid time off (PTO) per year and the company recognizes 11 holidays.
