Video Editor

SC Management is looking for an experienced, driven, and enthusiastic video editor with experience in motion graphics to join our marketing team at our Rock Hill, NY location. You will create original and engaging video content to market our brand. You will blend your passion for video editing to create fresh, eye-catching material using creative editing techniques that will help our company's vision come to life. As a member of our marketing department, you are a creative representation of the company's voice, developing unique ideas for visual advertising and video content to promote and illustrate key concepts. You will combine images, text, footage, music, sound effects, and dialogue to communicate ideas through digital designs and videos, bridging art and technology.

In this role, the responsibilities will include:

• Editing short and long-form video content, product promos, training videos, testimonials, interviews, and social media ads.
• Efficiently switching gears to transition between different editing styles to suit each individual brand.
• Utilizing advanced editing software to combine text, images, footage, music, sound effects, and dialogue.
• Adhering to brand guidelines and differentiating between the styles for different brands.
• Incorporating fresh, innovative approaches to raise the production value of our videos.
• Working collaboratively with other video editors and the production team across multiple projects.
• Fast and efficient editing workflow, able to keep assets organized and structured for collaborative editing within a team of editors.
• Working with storyboards, shot lists, and production notes to ensure the quality and accuracy of all projects.
• Editing dailies for projects currently in production.
• Generating and managing proxy files for use in offline edits across the entire team.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of apps, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Audition, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and a general understanding of the workflow in different NLEs.
• Strong technical skills, knowledge of industry workflows, pre- and post-production, project management, video codecs, and different file formats in reference to video editing.
• Experience in mixing audio for video and editing audio files in both Premiere Pro and Audition for sweetening dialogue and voiceovers.
• Experience with motion graphics, utilizing After Effects and Premiere Pro, keyframing, and manipulating pre-made animations to suit each individual project.
• Knowledge of DSLR cameras, professional camcorders, audio recording devices, and lighting for video.
• Effective time management and communication abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills.
• Able to operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines.
• Strong character, integrity, and positive energy.
• Must be a team player.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
