The Job
The IT Planning Lead (aka IT Planning and Administration Analyst) will play a crucial role in supporting the financial management and contractual execution aspects of the IT department and driving key strategic initiatives to support SCAN’s technology strategy. This role requires a detail-oriented and organized professional with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of financial management, budgeting, contract administration, with experience solving complex problems across a variety of stakeholders. This role will be responsible for supporting the ideation and execution of initiatives in support of SCAN’s technology strategy.

This role will be responsible for supporting the ideation and execution of initiatives in support of SCAN’s technology strategy.
You Will
Technology Strategy and Planning:
- Support internal consulting team within SCAN IT to continuously define and execute strategic initiatives in support of SCAN IT’s technology strategy.
- Work across teams to deploy best practices, tools to enable efficiencies or resolve process gaps.
- Assist in the development, tracking, and management of the IT department's budget.
- Monitor IT expenditures, identify variances, and prepare detailed financial reports for management review.
- Collaborate with finance teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and budget reallocations.
- Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process by providing detailed financial insights and recommendations.
- Manage the lifecycle of IT contracts, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
- Maintain accurate records of all IT contracts, including renewals, expirations, and amendments.
- Liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve any contract-related issues or discrepancies.
- Ensure that all contracts are aligned with the IT department's strategic goals and financial objectives.
- Track and report on contract performance, ensuring adherence to agreed-upon service levels and deliverables.
- Support the coordination of IT governance activities, including the prioritization of IT projects and initiatives.
- Analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to IT planning and execution.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of IT planning processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication and collaboration within the IT department and with other departments as needed.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, and other materials for IT leadership and stakeholders.
- Actively support the achievement of SCAN’s Vision and Goals.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in financial management, contract administration, or IT planning support, preferably within an IT environment.
- Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Proven experience in contract management, including negotiation and compliance.
- Proficiency in financial management software and tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
- Familiarity with IT project management tools and methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Base Pay Range: $92,400 to $147,800 annually
