We are currently looking for an experienced UNREAL PIPELINE TECHNICAL COORDINATOR to join our team!


THE ROLE: UNREAL PIPELINE TECHNICAL COORDINATOR


SOME OF THE THINGS YOU WILL DO:

  • Provide technical advice and support for the Virtual Production team, including designers/artists, making sure R&D and projects run smoothly
  • Ensure the Virtual Production Department have everything needed to do their work, this includes all aspects from initial budget research to building systems, and identifying issues and fixing problems as they (or before) they arise
  • Work closely with the designers/artists and production team to develop new software, tools, and workflows
  • Contribute to the development and constant improvement of the Scarab pipeline by doing research and recommendations
  • Ensure requests for new tools relate to company strategies and plans
  • Work through and achieve the goals as outlined in position’s onboarding plan and annual performance plan


YOU BRING:

  • Effective communication skills and can understand the team’s needs, and can assist with technical issues, and help develop solutions
  • Strong programing and coding skills: Excellent C , Python, and technical proficiency in Windows
  • Familiarity with Unreal Engine, Blueprints and working in distributed Unreal based systems.
  • Familiarity with content production workflows for integration in-camera visual effects (ICVFX)/Unreal projects
  • A degree in Computer Science, Computer Graphics or other related field or equivalent training and professional experience
  • General knowledge of network design, troubleshooting and maintenance


BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

  • Experience in developing tools for DCC packages such as Houdini, Maya, Blender, etc.
  • Previous experience in games, visual effects, or a related industry
  • Solid understanding of the Visual Effects and Virtual Production pipeline
