Summary
We're looking for an Accounting Intern to join our team! We are open to candidates who have recently graduated or who are currently in school pursuing a bachelor's degree. Reporting to the Director of Accounting, this person will be exposed to basic accounting processes and procedures. If you are someone who has a knack for numbers but is seeking to work within a creative environment, we might be the place for you. You'll have the chance to make an impact on a very important function within our organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with accounts payable processing including vendor invoices, personal expense reports, and Mastercard reconciliations
- File accounts payable and accounts receivables
- Verify that accurate information is being logged in OpenAir
- Perform a variety of general account and clerical functions to support the broader accounting team
- Help with weekly check runs
- Research, track, and resolve accounting problems
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or has obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Business (We're looking for those in junior standing or higher)
- An interest and enthusiasm to work in Accounting within the Advertising/Creative space
- Experience with data entry
- Basic understanding of accounting procedures
- High level of accuracy and detail-oriented
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude
- Experience with OpenAir is a plus!
