Job Posting for Production/Packaging Assistant at Schilling Beer Company
Schilling Beer Co. is looking for an individual to join our brewery production team on a 35 – 40 hr/week basis to assist with packaging beer, primarily by working on our Wild Goose Canning line and keg cleaning & filling. We will be filling this position by May 1st, 2024.
Responsibilities:
Assisting with and learning the operation of our 5-head Wild Goose canning line.
Palletizing of finished cans/bottles/kegs, assembling case trays, and can loading.
Abiding by production area safety SOPs/ use of PPE.
Keg cleaning/operation of keg cleaner.
Keeping work station clean and sanitary.
Assisting with other brewery duties as directed by supervisor such as inventory counting/stocking/recording, and QA/QC work.
Skill Requirements:
Experience in the brewing industry preferred.
Physically able to climb ladders, lift objects weighing up to 65 lb, operate using repetitive motions, use a pallet jack and work in a non-climate controlled space.
Basic math and computer skills (Google Suite, EKOS).
Desire to work as a team and work well with others.
Attention to cleanliness and detail.
Ability to take instruction.
Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license.
Able to stand for 6 hours.
Compensation/Benefits:
Starting wage $17 / hr.
