What are the responsibilities and job description for the Painter/Service Technician position at Schillings?
Great news! Schillings is currently looking for a Painter/Service Technician. This position is full-time with opportunities for advancement and offers excellent benefits. No Sundays or late evenings!
Responsibilities:
- General drywall taping and hanging
- Painting interior and exterior surfaces
- Prep and hang wallpaper
- Power washing and exterior cleaning
- General maintenance as needed by Management
- Work in multiple locations (Cedar Lake, Mokena, & St. John)
Education/Requirements:
- Maintain a clean and tidy workspace before, during, and upon completion of projects
- Be able to hang, tape, sand, prime, and paint drywall from start to finish
- Be able to clean, prep, and paint interior and exterior applications
- Be able to remove, patch, repair, and install wallpaper
- Stain work and experience is a plus
- 3-5 years of drywall & painting experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
