Schlouch Incorporated has been a leading full-service site contractor in eastern PA for over 40 years and we are still growing. We have an exciting opportunity to add a full-time experienced Job Cost Accountant to our team. This position is well suited to the individual who values working with a creative team in an open and fun environment. Qualified candidates are required to have a minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
Essential Functions of the Job Cost Accountant:
- Manage Job & Unit Costing on Projects
- Prepare Monthly Contract and Time & Material Billings
- Lien Preparation
- Conduct Month End Analysis
- Assist/Manage Collections
- Preparation of Journal Entries
- Import Project Budgets into Accounting Software
- Scanning/Filing
Required Skills of the Job Cost Accountant:
- Solid Accounting Knowledge
- Good Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
- Good Organizational and Interpersonal Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to Effectively Communicate at All Organizational Levels
- Willingness to Learn, Desire to Handle Variety of Challenging Tasks
- General Ledger, Billing and Costing Experience Required
- Accounting/Finance Degree Preferred
Salary Range: $67,500 to $82,500, Based on Experience.
