What are the responsibilities and job description for the CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST position at Schlumberger?
Job Summary
- Duties include but not limited to:
- Develop and implement tracking process for tooling shipments for use by Field Service teams globally and communicated to Service Managers
- Work directly with Project Management and Line-Management to design and define Project Execution Plans
- Review procedures and identify room for improvement
- Attend and contribute to strategic planning activities, as tooling subject matter expert, to forecast future tooling requirements
- Purchase tools and raw materials as required
- Issue tooling to Field Service Specialists as required
- Maintain calibration schedule
- Maintain tooling and consumable inventory levels
- Prepare items and commercial invoices for overseas shipments
- Determine shipping method for materials, using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
- Contact carrier representative to make arrangements and to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials
- Review customer request for quote
Minimum Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3 years of working experience.
- Customer Service Experience.
- Valid US Driver’s License.
- Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.
